About Holiday Home In 't Wiel

The ecological holiday home has a total surface area of 60 m² and can accommodate up to 6 people.

The holiday flat and the private home are separate and each has its own entrance. The spacious front garden, entirely at the guests’ disposal, was redesigned with particular attention to the privacy of our guests.

The south-facing private terrace is the perfect place to catch your breath over an apéro or BBQ after an enjoyable trip.

During renovation and decoration, we paid a lot of attention to sustainability, comfort and quality. The solar panels, heat pump and cistern provide all the necessary comfort without placing any additional burden on nature. There is underfloor heating over the entire surface and an automatic ventilation system has been installed. Moreover, the holiday home is non-smoking.

History of the Property

The holiday home is part of an elongated farmhouse dating from the post-war period. The part of the house where the stables used to be served as a bedroom for our eldest children the first year, but was thoroughly and sustainably renovated into a fully-fledged holiday home.

Dogs Are Welcome

Why are dogs welcome? We ourselves always take our dog Lou with us when we travel.

Lou has never secretly smoked a cigarette inside and burned a hole in the sheets. Never before did Lou steal a towel or turn the TV too loud. Never before did Lou get so drunk that he broke the furniture.

But Lou is always cheerful and greets people and animals with great enthusiasm.

All beds are equipped with a high-quality pocket spring mattress, a mattress protector, various pillows and duvets adapted to the season.
